Peace032 – If Jesus is just a human being, how is it that He will live within us with the Father forever?

John 14:23 states: “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

The Father and Jesus will come to us and dwell with us. How can the Father and Jesus dwell in us if we consider Jesus as a human being like you and me?

Jesus also said in Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

If Jesus is just a human being, how can He be with us “always, even unto the end of the world”?

What is your opinion on the matter?Peace032 – If Jesus is just a human being, how is it that He will live within us with the Father forever?
Jesus is not JUST a human being. Jesus is the son of God.

The Trinity is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. When Jesus left the earth He promised the Holy Spirit would come. And the Spirit did come at Pentecost (Acts 2). The Holy Spirit is God living in those who believe on Jesus. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three separate personalities but all One God. Though difficult for our minds to comprehend, I can use what I see in nature to help me understand. For instance, I can have a cup of water (a liquid), a cup of ice (a solid), and a pan of boiling water releasing steam (a vapor). All three of these are the same chemical combination of H20 and yet all three are different.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you believe and understand. If you come to Him with a contrite heart He will hear your prayer.Peace032 – If Jesus is just a human being, how is it that He will live within us with the Father forever?
You can't use a fictional book to prove a fictional point.
The story of Jesus is mythology.

There's my opinion.

Now go ahead and give me a thumbs down for disagreeing with you.
You need better evidence to prove your point than citing from your fictional book.
Jesus is ';the Christ, the Son of the living God.'; He's bound by no human limitations whatsoever.
You seem to be holding two contradicting idea in your head at one time.
He died for our sins and accented into heaven to be with the Father. He is no longer human. God had brought him to earth to teach the word of God. If you believe then you know God is in your heart. That is how he dwells with us. Though our faith in him.
The FACT of this matter is that the gospels are a complete fiction... and so is Jesus. So, what Jesus 'says' is of no more consequence than what Luke Skywalker 'says'.

Look... you guys go around telling outlandish stories about invisible, magical, all-powerful entities and how these entities orchestrate and cause supernatural events. We do not believe your stories. It is that simple... really. Religionists say that makes us 'atheists'. I say that just makes us 'sane'.

.
Because Jesus wasn't just a man, He was God manifested into the flesh, a sinless man, the sacrifice for our sins, Half man and half Deity. He was led by the Holy Spirit until he gave up his life on the Cross. At which time he became 100 % Deity.
If I write a book and people believe it, does that make it true?
Jesus is God incarnate as man....His humanness does not remove His diety...In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God...thats Jesus...He is the King....?
