I think that inadvertently you have answered your own question. Note that your reasons for choosing to wait are spiritual reasons. Why do girls seek for man's love rather than God's? They are seeking the way the world says to seek. The carnal man cannot understand the things of God. And even if one is a Christian, walking with God is a process that is not learned overnight. In the meantime, most girls still have a natural desire to be loved by a male. I do think that is part of God's plan of being fruitful and multiplying. At any rate, girls don't always seek God, so they don't know His love, thus they don't seek God's will, but their own instead. That's a cause of many problems, not just the one you are asking about.
