When Love becomes Obbession how can you save your friends?

I have a girl (who's name I won't say),



She's living in New York and is about 17.



She was forced into a relationship with a guy who is obsessed with her so much that he's willing to kill the man she is with now.

Scared to death she broke up with her love and went out with the guy.



The guys father has ties with the DA of NYC. So he can almost get away with anything.



How can I get her out of this and still keep her love (who is my brother) safe?



I've never crossed such a drastic thing and it's a shame to see someone who loves someone so much it becomes obsession enough to threaten to kill.

WOW! you need to go to the police, not his dad. make sure you do it without him knowing. and get prof that he is doing this first, so no matter what his father does he can't hurt your friend. and it has to be hard prof or he can get away. hope that helps.
